Chris Martinez, Church Secretary
Chris H. Martinez is serving the Lord as a secretary with El Buen Pastor UMC. She was born in Puebla Mexico and moved to the US since 1985. Her experience working in an office includes: working with the Edinburg Housing Authority for close to 8 years, Jackson Pest Control for over 3 years, and The Rio Grande Bible Institute for 5 years. She has worked as receptionist, secretary, administrative assistant and in the accounting department.
She started working at EBP in August of 2006 as church secretary. She takes care of the reception area in the office. Taking phone calls, receiving mail, and helping people who come to the office. She also assists Rev. Saenz and Pastor Norma Pollard. She has served for 3 years and looks forward to serve many more years in this ministry.
She also enjoys working with children so she is currently helping in the toddler room on Sundays. She is married to her husband Aureliano Martinez and they have two children Ashley, 7 and Nathan, 4.
